snacks live in summer '04 at true vine records in baltimore. the tighty-whitey concept came about while drifting around west philly dollar stores the day after snacks played a show at a non-denominational "church" nearby. incidentally the "church" was a windowless bunker type place that looked straight out of david koresh waco, tx. bands had to sign a sheet of paper claiming they believed in the church's "religion" in order to keep the tax status of the building - which was for intents and purposes a punk rock and metal venue. i never followed up on what happened to that place...
